Women Literacy should more focus for development of future Generation
The Sakshar Bharat Yatra which symbolizes the light of literacy and attempt to aware & educate the community at the starting point and will spread across the state, step by step, ultimately reaching out to thousands of villages and millions of homes and hearts. This Sakshar Bharat Yatra is conceived as central symbol connecting the whole set of events, mobilization programmes and events that would reach out lakhs of people of the country.
The Saakshar Bharat Yatra has been inaugurated by Honorable President Smt Prativa Singh Patil on 18th February 2012 at Rastapati bhaban. After covering all the states it will culminate in to National Saaksharata Samagam on March 24—25 at New Delhi. In odisha the Saakshar Bharat Yatra covering Vedavyasa (RKL) and covering Sundargard,Bolangir,Kalahandi it will culminate at Kesinga, kalahandi March 2012 .
The Nation wide mass mobilization activities under Saakshar Bharat Mission by the Support from National Literacy Mission Authority (NLMA), MHRD, Govt. of India and Bharat Gyana vigan Samiti in 22 States will cover 180 districts.. In Odisha 3 districts (Bolangir, Kalahandi, and Sundargard) was Covered under with Kalajatha, Audio visual programmes,. Peoples Book’s etc The objective of the programme is to create more awareness among women mass for the development of literacy. All the Stake holders including Director Mass Education ODISHA, Director SRC ,Representatives of ZSS’S of the Concern districts(Bolangir,Kalahandi,Sundargard ) ,Director’s of the JSS’s, Song & Drama Division, N.G.Os & Academicians and secretary of BGVS, Odisha Branch Blorin mohanty and others participated in this programme Peoples books and People’s Wall and kalajatha influenced the community members to develop the literacy for better learning attitude. ‘ In the State of Odisha Saakshar Bharat Yatra commence at Vedavayas Government High School, Vedvyas block, Sundergarh district. Sh. Swami Agnivesh, Social Worker was the chief guest of the programme. Sh. Gopal Chandra Das, JSS Director, Rourkela, Sh. Santan Pandey, Deputy Director, SLMA, Sh. Anant Chandra Badaha, District Mass Education Officer, Sundergarh, Dr. Umakant Panda, Prof Vedavayas College. Mrs. Rajasree Pandey, Programme Officer, JSS, Rourkela, Ms. Smriti Das, Programme Coordinator, JSS, BGVS representative, senior village persons and others were present in the programme. 1100 people came from different places of Sundergarh to view the programme in which the number of women was more than men. The second programme was at Kutra Block of Sundergarh district.
The venue of the programme was at Kendirya Vidyalay, Kutra. Sh. Swami Agnivesh, Social Worker was the chief guest of the programme. Sh. Gopal Chandra Das, JSS Director, Rourkela, Sh. In this programme youth participation was more. Around 300 people gathered there from the nearby panchayats and area. It was surprising that people there have seen all the performances and show there concern about the issue taken up through the mode of Jatha. Government High School Karmandi, Subdega Block of Sundergarh district was the third venue of the opening day in Orisaa. Sh. Swami Agnivesh, Social Worker was the chief guest of the programme. Sh. Mrs. Rajasree Pandey, Programme Officer, JSS, Rourkela, Ms. Smriti Das, Programme Coordinator, JSS, BGVS representative, senior village persons and others were present in the programme. 500 persons have seen the performance which was continue till late evening Bandpali High School of Mahulpal panchayat, Tangarpali block of Sundergarh district was the first venue of the day. Sh. Hemananda Biswal, Ex Chief Minister and MP Sundergarh was the chief guest. Sh. Dukmant Kumar Nayah, Advocate, Sh. Pradeep Kumar Nayak, PGDPT, Ms. Asha Mishra Secretary BGVS, Dr. Prafulla Majhi MLA Salsona, JSS, BGVS representative, senior village persons and others were present in the programme. 950 people gathered there from the nearby panchayats and area to view the performance of Kala Jatha Team.Village Mandap of Bhedabala, Sadar Block of Sundergarh district was the second venue of the programme.
Sh. Gopal Kumar Das, Director JSS was chief guest. Sh. Naveen Chandra Naik, retd. Teacher, Sh. Anant Devta District Coordinator, BGVS representative, including senior persons of the nearby village and area. Between 900-1000 spectators were present in this event and many songs and plays were performed by the Kala Jatha team, they energetically performed and the response received there was very positive and motivating Barpali Market, Barpali Block of Bargada district was orgnanised as a first programme of the day. Sh. Gajanand Gahira, Chairman Municipality Barpali was the chief guest. Ms. Gulli Behra, CDPO Barpali, Sh. Gadadhar Singh Ex Officer Barpali, BGVS representative, senior persons of nearby village, panchayats were there in the programme. Between (750-800) spectators were present in this event and many songs and plays were performed by the Kala Jatha team.Boys High School Barpali was the venue programme was organized. Sh. Manoj Behra, Head Master was the main guest of this occasion. Sh. Yaswant Sahur, Science Coordinator, Sambalpur, Sh. Balram Bareek, BRCT Barpali, Sh. Vijay Mishra, Assistant Teacher Boys High School, 450 BGVS representative, senior village persons and others were present in the programme.
500 persons have seen the performance.Village Mandap Burda Panchayat, Loisinga Block, Bolangir was the last venue for the performance. People started gathering at village mandap earlier to time. Sh. Ashok Kumar Hopa, Director JSS Bolangir was the chief guest. Sh. Vijay Kumar Barik SLMA Bhubaneswar, Sh. Haridhar Behra, DMEO Bolangir, Sh. Lokesh Prasad Das, Programme Officer, JSS Bolangir, Sh. K Jitendra Biswal, State Coordinator SLMA Bubaneswar, Sh. Mitra Bhanu Pradan, Programme Coordinator, SRC Bubaneswar, BGVS representative, senior village persons and others were present in the programme. 400 people gathered there from the nearby panchayats and area to view the performance of Kala Jatha Team.Village Mandap Ulba panchayat, Patnagar Block of Bolangir District was the venue of the day. Sh. Bakta Ranjan Naik, Panchayat Samiti Member, Smt. Danvanti Naik, Sarpanch, Sh. Vijay Kumar, SLMA Coordinator, Sh. Lokesh Prasad Das, Programme Officer, JSS Bolangir, BGVS representative, Senior village members and villagers. Around 500 persons were present in the programme. Performances were appreciated by the spectators. Near BRC Building Belpada Block of Bolangir District was the venue for the second programme. Smt. Manjulata Behra, Block development officer, Belpada, Sh. Randatta Bhoi, GP Extension officer, Belpada, Sh. Nimai Chandra Mehere, BRCC, Sh. Vijay Bareek, SLMA, BGVS representative, Senior village members and villagers.
Around 500 persons were present in the programme. Performances were appreciated by the spectators.Last performance of the day was organsied at Village Mandap of the Dhandamunda Panchayat of Khaprakhol Block of Bolangir district. The guest of the programme was Sh. KaranSingh Thakur, Sarpanch, Dhandamunda, Sh. Kalyan Chandra Saho, SERCC, BGVS Representative Between 600-650 spectators were present in this event and many songs and plays were performed by the Kala Jatha team, they energetically performed and the response received there was very positive and motivating.In front of Sub Collectors office Dharamgarh Block of Kalahandi district was the venue of the day. Sh. Adikanta Das, DMU, Kalahandi, Sh. Chandan Kumar Singh, SRC Coordinator, Sh. Harush Kumar Mund District Coordinator ZSS, Sh. Sitaram Nanda ZSS, Sh. Jitendra Biswal State Coordinator, SLMA, BGVS, and other important persons were present in the programme.
Gathering of 250/300 was counted there. Viewers gathered in the ground to view the performances of the Kala Jatha team. The response from the viewers was very positive.Badbasol Grampanchayat Village Mandap at DharamgarhBlock of Kalahandi district was the second venue of the day Sh. Adikanta Das, DMU, Kalahandi, Sh. Chandan Kumar Singh, SRC Coordinator, Sh. Harush Kumar Mund District Coordinator ZSS, Sh. Sitaram Nanda ZSS, Sh. Viewers gathered in the ground to view the performances of the Kala Jatha team.
The response from the viewers was very positive.Suryagarh Grampanchayat Village Mandap at Junagarh block of Kalahandi District was the venue of third performance. Sh. Vijendra Behra Sarpanch, Sh. Kisore Nayak Village head and educationist was the main guest. Sh. Chandan Kumar Singh, SRC Coordinator, Sh. Harush Kumar Mund District Coordinator ZSS, Sh. Sitaram Nanda ZSS, BGVS, and other important persons were present in the programme. Gathering of 450/500 was counted there. Viewers gathered in the ground to view the performances of the Kala Jatha team.
The response from the viewers was very positive.Forth and the last programme was organized at the Sanyasi Kundamal Grampanchayat, Junagarh Block, district Kalahandi. In the Last day of the Odisha Saakshar Bharat Yatra was organized at 5 different points in the Kalahandi district. The first programme was organized at the Bhabanipatna Block’s Medininpur Gram Panchayat Village Mandap. Sh. Ashok Kumar Bhuniya, Project Development officer District Rural Development Authority Kalahandi, Sh. Adikanta Das, DMU, Kalahandi, Sh. Chandan Kumar Singh, SRC Coordinator, Sh. Harush Kumar Mund District Coordinator ZSS, Sh. Sitaram Nanda ZSS, Sh. Jitendra Biswal State Coordinator, SLMA, BGVS, and other important persons were present in the programme. Gathering of 250/300 was counted there. Viewers gathered in the ground to view the performances of the Kala Jatha team. The response from the viewers was very positive.Shantapur Gram panchayat of Bhabanipatna Block’s, Kalahandi district was the location for the second programme of the last day. Sh. Lok Nath Sahu, Sarpanch was the chief guest, Sh. Manoj Kumar Behram Gram Panchayat Education Officer, Sh. Chandan Kumar Singh, SRC Coordinator, Sh. Harush Kumar Mund District Coordinator ZSS, Sh. Sitaram Nanda ZSS, Sh. Jitendra Biswal State Coordinator, SLMA, BGVS, and other important persons were present in the programme.
Between 300/400 spectators were present in this event and many songs and plays were performed by the Kala Jatha team, they energetically performed and the response received there was very positive and motivating.Third performance was organsied at the Ghantamal Panchayat of Narla block, Kalahandi District. Sh. Sharat Chandra Sahu, Zila Panchayat member including other important persons, BGVS representative and other village heads were present in the programme. Around 350/400 persons have seen the performances shown by the Kala Jatha team.Rupra Gram Panchayat of Narla Block was the venue for the forth performance of the day. Sh. Akura Sahu, Sarpanch, Sh. Duba Maha Zila Panchayat Member, BGVS Representatives, and other important persons were present in the programme. 350 spectators were present in this event and many songs and plays were performed by the Kala Jatha teamThe last performance was organiseed at Bundaban Mishra Village of Kesingha Block Kalahandi District.
In This performance near about 600 persons gathered there to view the performances. Smt. Parmila Sahu, Sarpanch was the main guest. Sh. P K Nair, Village head and educationist, other important persons of the village and nearby area, BGVS representatives.
