Plus Two exam: 53 candidates were booked for malpractice
At least 190 candidates appearing in Physics paper of Plus Two Examination were booked for malpractice on Saturday. The flying squads of the CHSE found at least 21 students cheating at JBNM College in Sundargarh, highest for any centre for the day.
In Central Zone, at least 74 candidates were booked for malpractice, followed by 53 in Sambalpur Zone. The CHSE said no complaint has been received against the invigilators yet. An examination committee will decide on the punishment to be handed out to the students, booked for malpractice, after the examination concludes. Degree of the punishment will depend on the severity of cheating. Meanwhile, father of Aditya Singh Maneka, who was not issued admit card by BJB Junior College and failed to appear the MIL paper, has moved the OHRC seeking justice. The Commission has received the petition.
