Observatory Planetarium will be soon in Sambalpur
Like other major cities of the country, an observatory Planetarium is going to set up in Western Odisha’s Major city Sambalpur .After Capital Bhubaneswar it will be the second one observatory Planetarium in Odisha State. The public interest has been increased after knowing about the observatory.
According to information received, for the proposed observatory Planetarium, the PHD field in Sambalpur town near Ainthapali Square is selected. On behalf of the district administration, five acres of land will be providing to build observatory planetarium of this ground. On which observatory with a cost of 12 crores will be set.
Recently, Additional Secretary William Bilung of State’s Science and Technology Department came to Sambalpur & discuss all about this project in details with the Uttranchal Revenue Commissioner’s Secretary Chintamani Patro.In addition to that Additional Secretary William Bilung met Sadar Tahshildaar Gyanranjan Bhanjdev & visited the PHD ground along with & prefer the PHD ground for the same project.
