BRAMHA,VISHNU and MAHESHWAR
Brahma, Vishnu and Maheshwar can be compared with today’s science. In fact the concept of Hinduism revolves around nothing but science as it was, it is and it can be. In Hinduism, Brahma is equated to creator, Vishnu as the preserver and Maheshwar as the destroyer. Before we come to main discussion at hand, let me go into these three virtues of existence individually.
Brahma…the creator- Hinduism tracks the origin of universe to Lord Brahma who is said to have evolved from a lotus coming out of Lord Vishnu’s naval (Nabhi), hence also known as Nabhija. He was entrusted with the eternal task of creation.
Comparing this with science, one may note that human formation and existence is connected with Naval. A new born (creation) in womb is attached to his mother through naval (Nabhi) by a cord which we call the Umblical Cord. Therefore creation is attributed to naval, Nabhija or Brahma.
Vishnu…the preserver- Vishnu as the preserver of the universe took 10 incarnations to defeat the evil according to Hindu mythology. Vishnu as the preserver can be compared scientifically to heart. Heart pumps in purified blood and pumps out the impure blood similar to the actions of Vishnu in his 10 incarnations wherein he protected the innocent by an incarnation of a pure soul while eliminating the impurity (Devil). Also scientifically, emotions are attributed to heart. The 10 incarnations of Vishnu highlights him in 10 distinct emotional characters.
Maheshwar…the destroyer- According to Hinduism, Sarvaripati Shiva is the most fearsome manifestation of the Supreme God. Assigned with destroying all of the universe at the end of time, Shiva is the most fearsome warrior, unconquerable by any and all. Scientifically, similar power can be attributed to Brain. Human mind is the source of destruction and war. Human Psychology is scientifically proven to be selfish and conquering. For power, the mind can go to any extent. It should not be forgotten that Nuclear physics was nothing but an evolution of human brain. Thus brain is capable of protection and destruction. Therefore it is to be used in harmony with the other organs and not in isolation. No human brain can be conquered. It is complex in structure, function and chemically also.
Therefore, hindu mythology itself speaks about the existence of God within. As a human body consists of Naval (Brahma), Heart (Vishnu) and Brain (Maheshwar) as the main constituents.
