Illegal affair leads to kill husband
Over a month after the Paikmal police exhumed the body of Kasyap Bag (36) in Jamuna Nagar here on May 4, they claimed to have solved the murder mystery. Bag had gone missing on April 30. Police have arrested three persons including Bag’s widow Bindu (32), her cousin Nirupama Seth (26), besides paramour of Bindu and prime accused Premananda Dansena (35).
Informing this to mediapersons on Thursday, Bargarh SP Ashish Singh said Bag was working as a migrant labourer in Tamil Nadu. He had called up his wife Bindu and informed her that he was coming home on April 28 for Baisakh Mela in Nrusinghanath temple. Apparently, Bindu had developed a relationship with Premananda over the last nine months and they sought help of Nirupama to eliminate Bag.
When he reached home at Jamunanagar at about 7 pm on April 28, Bindu offered him alcohol laced with sleeping pills along with mutton. When he became semi-conscious, Premananda attacked Bag with an axe. However, the axe missed his throat and hit his chin resulting in a deep cut and bleeding. Thereafter, both Bindu and Premananda cleaned the blood and the plan to eliminate him was shelved. Next day on April 29, Bag was not allowed by Bindu to move out of the house and she again offered him liquor laced with more sleeping pills which rendered Bag motionless.
On April 30 night, Premananda tied a rope from a wooden beam in the roof of the house and the trio hanged Bag for about two hours which is believed to have caused his death. After covering the body with a bedsheet, they buried the body in the courtyard of the house.
As Paikmal police came to know about mysterious disappearance of Bag, they visited the house and came across newly laid concrete patch in the courtyard. This raised their suspicion and after digging about four feet, they found a dead body with limbs tied and face covered with cloth. As Bindu was missing, police doubted her involvement and started tracking her.
The three had left for Raipur after committing the crime and then shifted to Mathura in Uttar Pradesh. Police said when the three accused had come to Bargarh to arrange money, they were arrested at the railway station.
Bag and Bindu had a love marriage 12 years back and were forced to leave their village in Chhattisgarh after their families refused to accept the marriage. They had settled down in Jamunanagar under Paikmal police limits acheter viagra pfizer france. The couple has a son and a daughter and the children have been kept in Kasturba Matru Niketan at Paikmal by police. Premananda is also married and has a son and a daughter.
