Odisha Health minister’s daughter and her friends shoot video at Prohibited Zone of Hirakud Dam. The controversial video of the Health Minister’s daughter hanging out with three Odia actress at the prohibited zone of Hirakund Dam, hence the video has been going viral on the internet.
The purported video shows three Odia actress including Prakruti Mishra hanging out with the daughter of Odisha Health Minister, Naba Kishore Das in the prohibited area of Hirakud Dam in Sambalpur district. As a result Kanwar Vishal Singh, Sambalpur SP has sought a report from the Hirakud SDPO in this connection.
Reportedly Odia actresses Prakruti Mishra, Elina Samantray along with Deepali Das, daughter of Health Minister, and a few other friends were travelling to Burla from Hirakud on Saturday. On their way, they halted at the prohibited zone of Hirakud dam and shot photos and some videos. They shared those on their Instagram which went viral and soon after the video drew flak.
Angry netizens are now raising questions regarding the security system at the reservoir.
Reacting to the controversy, Prakruti Mishra said influenced by the nature’s beauty, she had clicked photos and shot videos. But she promised that such a mistake would not happen again. Samantray also said such mistakes would never happen again.
Health minister Naba Kishore Das said he can’t speak for his daughter as she is no longer a minor. “Let the law take its own course,” he said.
Sambalpur Police SP, Kanwar Vishal Singh told IndiaTodayTV, “I have asked for a report from Hirakud SDPO in this connection, he has been asked to submit clarification on the matter by today evening. After the report comes we will take appropriate action.”
