Congress calls Odisha Bandh on 12th of November 2021
Furthering its agitation on the issue of Mamita Meher murder, the Congress has called an Odisha Bandh on 12th of November. A PCC extended executive meeting on Monday adopted a special resolution demanding a High Court-supervised inquiry into the Mamita case and dismissal and arrest of Minister Dibya Shankar Mishra for his alleged role in the case.It called the demanding resignation of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik if he delays to take action against Mishra.
Party State in-charge Dr A Chella Kumar asked the party workers to take advantage of the emerging situation as people are dissatisfied with both the Modi Government at the Centre and Ptanaik Government in State. OPCC president Niranjan Patnaik said party workers should work untidily to bring the Congress to power again.
