CM inaugurate 3 projects while groundbreaking of 10 others
Today, The CM, Naveen Patnaik inaugurate 3 projects while groundbreaking of 10 others. These diversified projects are food processing, tourism, paper/packaging, manufacturing, and polymers and plastic sectors. These projects create a potential employment for over 3390 person in the state.
Some of the leading companies promoting these projects include Mayfair Hotels & Resorts Ltd, Ori Food and Beverage Private Ltd, Mash Spirits Pvt Ltd and Sambalpur Biofuels Private Ltd.
The CM also said, Odisha is fast emerging as a major manufacturing hub in the country for sectors like metal, minerals and food processing. Targeting the development of a conducive environment for industrial development. The state government has always endeavored to provide a hassle-free and prompt business environment for the investors. As we move out of the pandemic, the government’s focus on 5T philosophy viz. Transparency, Technology, Teamwork, Time, and Transformation, towards the development of the industrial sector, have further strengthened.
This philosophy has created an industry-led ecosystem of value addition, sustainable employment generation and revenue augmentation in the State.
Mishra said the state has ensured grounding /inauguration of projects worth over Rs 30,000 crores, generating potential employment of nearly 40,000 during theCcovid pandemic.
The projects inaugurated on Friday included
- Manufacturing of Horlicks & Boost in association with Hindustan Unilever Ltd at Tangi, Cuttack by Orifood And Beverage Private Ltd (Rs 61.15 crores).
- Resort with amusement park at Bargarh by the Entertainment Kingdom (Rs. 12.62 crores).
- Corrugated boxes at Industrial Estate, Khurdha, by Dasarath Nayak Multiproducts Private Ltd. UNI DP KK SSP (Rs 3.20 crores).
An investment of Rs. 103 crore for methanol plant near Maneswar is granted by Sambalpur Biofuels Private Ltd.
In Jharsuguda, a distillery plant at a cost of Rs 204.60 crores will be there by Mass Spirits.
