Arrogant minister’s son misbehaved NAC Chairperson while demarcating of a kitchen of a Ahar Kendra in Bijepur.
The Bijepur police in Bargarh district today detained Sourabh Sahu, son of Rita Sahu minister of state (MoS) for Handlooms, Textiles & Handicrafts, Rita Sahu for allegedly misbehaving with the NAC chairperson.
According to the information, the NAC chairperson and women councilors were present near Ahar centre in Bijepur for the demarcation of a kitchen, when Sourabh along with his associates reached the spot and allegedly misbehaved with the women. As they opposed him, the minister’s son hurled abuse at them.
The Minister son also abused the NAC chairperson to kill her, the victim said in her complaint.
Basing on the complaint filed by the NAC chairperson, the police detained Sourabh was questioning him till the last report came in,
On the other hand, the police conducted a flag march on Monday for maintaining the law and order situation in Bijepur. All the shops and business establishments have been shut in the locality.
