Teenager pedals 400 kms in two days to reach holy city Puri from Bamra, Sambalpur.
Saumyaranjan Sahu aged 14 years teenager, a class VIII student started the journey by his cycle from Bamra, Sambalpur to Puri accompanied with his father with a motorcycle.
In future he want to become a professional cyclist. Cycling is his passion and he want to cycle more long distance as much as he can cover.
In a chit-chat with OTV about the journey he said, “It was not an easy task for me as it is my maiden trip. At the beginning, I suffered leg cramps. I felt tired too. In order to get rid of fatigue, I had to take breaks and rest. I halted at Angul where I had a goodnight’s sleep and it recharged me again. I left for Puri the next morning after having a pain killer. In hilly area I found little hard to pedal, but I made it possible.”
