Guru Kshitipati Sahu passes away
Guru Kshitipati Sahu was died yesterday at a private hospital in Bargarh. As his health deteriorated in the age of 83, he was taken to a private hospital in Bargarh district. He passed away while undergoing treatment there.
The mortal remains were brought to his village Bhatli Kesheipalli, and circumambulated in a procession.
Sahu was also a painter, artist, dramatist and teacher. For his art loving quality and amiable behaviour, he was quite popular among all sections of people.
Besides being a popular teacher all over the district where he worked in government schools. He had composed songs for the famous film ‘Bhuka’ in Sambalpuri language. ‘Dahanamala’ is a collection of poems penned by him in Sambalpuri.
Political leaders from Western Odisha and people from all walks of life have condoled the demise of Kshitipati.
