Railway conduct mock drill at lapanga
In a bid to check preparedness of railway staff in case of train accidents, a mock drill exercise was conducted by Sambalpur Railway Division at Lapanga Railway Stationon Friday.
Various rescue, fire fighting and passenger techniques were demonstrated in the drill to prevent loss of life during railway accidents. The drill was carried out with participation of Police, ODRAF, NDRF, local hospitals and NGOs.
Besides, the fire personnel also demonstrated the various modes of rescue operations during fire accidents.
