Papakshya Ghat is at the bank of Mahanadi River in Binika, Sonepur district. It is popularly belief that a dip in this Papakshya ghat washes away all the sins.

A story was also there that the legend king Ananta Bhima Dev of Puri was affected with a dreadful disease. And he was cured by taking a holy deep in this Papakshya Ghat and cross the Bata Bruskhya tunnel.
It turns out that many people come to the Ghat for a holy bath in the lunar eclipse and solar eclipse to atone for their sins.
